These pages are based on a visit I made to the Barnhaven Primrose nursery based in Brittany. The nursery has changed hands but the policy remains the same and they carry the same varieties.

shows the polytunnels in which the primroses are grown. They hold the benches on
which the plants stand.

The following pages only carry a selection of the large range of Polyanthus and Primrose seed that Barnhaven, at their new location in Brittany, carry. I cannot praise them too highly. Their varieties are fantastic and their seed is excellent. The flowers are pollinated and the seed collected by hand. It is then stored in cold storage and only removed when the order is sent out.

Anyway thats enough of that lets have a look at the wonderful polyanthus and primroses. Every variety is hand pollinated and Barnhaven are the only firm that supply such individual colours to my knowledge. Anyway they are beautiful plants and the seed is excellent.
